Mark Zuckerberg firmly believes the future belongs to virtual reality, so it’s only logical that filmmaking will explore that path. SXSW will host the debut of the first feature-length movie ever shot in 360-degree virtual reality, “Career Opportunities In Organized Crime,” and today we have the exclusive trailer.

Directed by Alex Oshmyansky, the mockumentary plays as a recruitment video for the Russian mafia, and the premise allowed the director the opportunity to really play with the format. “The film is a an experiment to see what kind of experience a feature-length virtual reality film would be. I’m obviously biased, but I think it turned out great. The film is a whole new kind of cinematic experience that hasn’t existed before. We are thrilled to be able to present it at the South by Southwest VR/AR Experience Expo,” he said in statement.

Check out the trailer below, and if you’re not at SXSW, “Career Opportunities In Organized Crime” will be released this spring as an app available for download through smartphones, Samsung Gear VR, and the Oculus Rift VR Headset.
